Talented and bright pianist shares her secrets to Relaxation Music to sooth the Body, Soul and Mind. Sandy DiLeo wrote and published a piano book called 12 Relaxing Pieces in the Major Keys. The 12 short pieces from the book are included on her CD, Dreamscapes.
She started piano lessons at the age of eight learning the importance of scales and chords. In her early teen years, she was playing pieces from Rachmaninoff’s Flight of the Bumblebee, Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and Christian Sinding’s Rustles of Spring and many pieces by Chopin. Within the past 15 years or so, she has been become more intrigued with counterpoint, thus delving into the Baroque, especially Bach. Currently, she is writing a soothing Baroque book and CD with a Baroque Essence. According to Wikipedia, Baroque is a style of music composed during the time of Baroque art [17th Century in Rome, Italy], but in a slightly later period.
